Raul Véjar
Raul Véjar is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the enterprise software industry, specializing in strategic, operational, and managerial roles. He currently advises several early-stage private companies within the enterprise software space.
Until May 2010, Raul served as EVP and COO of the Business Objects division of SAP, where he led the successful integration of Business Objects following its acquisition by SAP. In this role, he was instrumental in realizing synergies between the two companies while preserving the unique characteristics of Business Objects.
Earlier in his career, Raul served as EVP of Corporate Strategy, where he provided the CEO and SAP Executive Board with strategic guidance on a variety of competitive, operational, and organizational challenges.
Raul joined SAP AG in 1990, and in 1994, he founded and became the Managing Director of SAP Mexico. In 1999, he was appointed Regional President of SAP Latin America, where he led the company’s operations for seven years. Under his leadership, SAP Latin America achieved significant market penetration and leadership in the region.
Before joining SAP, Raul managed information systems at Novum Corporation, a chemical and pharmaceutical company based in Mexico City.
Raul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and an MBA from the Catholic University in Leuven, Belgium.
