Emanuele Preda is an Head of Capital Markets and Board Member at Loop AI Group, where he provides strategic guidance on financial instruments to enable a broader base of accredited investors to participate in Loop's growth by directly acquiring shares of Loop AI Group and Loop Quantum AI Labs from any trading platform.
Drawing on his firsthand experience with complex deal structures involving cash, escrow, and equity components, as part of Loop roadmap to acquire strategic companies he provides invaluable guidance on M&A processes spanning deal structuring, valuation negotiations, integration planning, and stakeholder management.
Most significantly, Emanuele has been instrumental in the creation of Loop Quantum AI Labs, a separate research entity spun off from the main labs and dedicated to forging next-generation AI based on quantum-native first principles.
Emanuele is a serial entrepreneur who founded SMS.it in 1996 at the age of 21, launching the world's first email push notification service and therefore the first mobile Internet service globally. He sent the first email in the world to a cell phone in 1996—four years before mobile data even existed—becoming the pioneer of mobile messaging and creating an entire industry that would later transform global communications. SMS.it quickly became one of the leading mobile messaging providers and the first to obtain a government license with its own numbering plan, operating as an independent mobile network operator for messaging infrastructure, signaling, and SS7 interconnection, with direct interworking agreements with mobile operators and MVNOs. In June 2018, SMS.it was acquired by Link Mobility, the European leader in mobile messaging solutions (Oslo Stock Exchange listed).
Beyond SMS.it, Emanuele has led multiple technology ventures: Bee, an app-based micromobility rental platform; a telecommunications startup helping travelers avoid roaming fees; and a micromobility advertising agency for vehicle fleets.
Emanuele leads the AI Strategy Group, a non-profit network of entrepreneurs, experts, and academics in technology and social sciences focused on responsible AI deployment, particularly addressing the risk of job displacement due to AI-driven automation. The organization operates under a core belief: "Technological innovation can deliver enormous benefits to humanity, only if its impact on the job market is managed proactively."

He has always been at the forefront of innovation, at the intersection between business and technology and is recognized as an expert with nearly three decades of experience building and scaling technology companies.
Emanuele holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science.
